Wisdom tooth at age 13??

okay sooo im 13 %26amp;%26amp; i have a tooth wich is under my gum %26amp;%26amp; bones. i looked it up, %26amp;%26amp; its an impact wisdom tooth. however, they dont *** around till the age`s of 17-25. is this a wisdom tooth. IM IN SERIOUS PAIN PPL!! I WANT TO CRY SOO OBAD. OMG! please let me know. im scared 2g2 the dentist.

No, it won't be wisdom teeth at your age.


They are your 2nd molars.


Count from the front centreline of your mouth backwards. The 1st molar will be tooth #6,


The 2nd molar (called "12 year-old molars") will be tooth #7. It may come thru as late as 15 years old.


Wisdom teeth are the 3rd molars and would be tooth #8. I have never seen these come thru until at least 15 years old.
Reply:count the molars that you have on that side. the wisdom tooth is the 3rd molar back. don't count the bicuspids. they look like molars but are smaller. at 13 years you are on the young side to have a wisdom tooth (3rd molar) coming in but it still is possible that it is a wisdom tooth. try some orajel for the pain. you can pick it up at walmart or other drug store. i would call a dentist and have them take a look. there is no reason to be scared if all they are going to do is look and possibly take an xray. at least they will confirm your suspicions.
Reply:ok if you count you bicuspids it's the 4th molar like tooth in the back. (if you don't count your bicuspids it's the 3rd.) for girls your wisdom teeth should come in around 17 or 18. 15 being the earliest case. 22 being the avg. of late bloomers.


for guys it's a little longer 19, 20, or 21. (late being 25-26 early being 17)


Be sure you aren't looking at your 12 year old molars. Which come in from 11-13 yrs. It truely depends on when you recieved you teeth or your, eruption age. if you didn't lose your first tooth by 1st grade then you are a late bloomer...don't be scared of the dentist...you should probably go see your dentist. Be sure that it's not your 12 year old molars before going in there and complaining about having your wisdom teeth and it really being your 12 year old molars...that would be embarrising...i hope all goes well
