How much did it cost you to remove your wisdom teeth without insurance?

My bottom left wisdom tooth is impacted and I've put it off for way too long. It's been hurting here and there and I am concerned because I don't have insurance. I am curious about how much it cost anyone who had the procedure done without insurance, and/or if your denist offered financing plans..





Also, if you could tell me how long it took you to heal, that would be great. Thanks.

I'm on my parents insurance so i dont know if this was before or after insurance but my top 2 cost around 200 each and my bottom 2 around 375 each it depends how they are coming in. My bottom ones are coming in horizontally so it costs more. My dentist told me a day before i do any activities and a week before im 100% normal.
Reply:I got all four out and it cost about $700 WITH insurance. Try going to the welfare office to apply for the free insurance so atleast you can cut your costs
Reply:My son had one extracted a few years ago and I paid around a thousand for it then. It is expensive. They did not have a payment plan.


It took around a week to heal if I remember right.
Reply:800 per tooth, and it's very bloody and terribly painful and takes months to fully heal, especially if they are impacted. You will swallow a lot of blood and will piss it out, don't be alarmed and good luck to you. Also, go under ... the sutra's bleed while healing and the patient will ingest blood unwillingly. The urine will contain blood. Follow their instructions and rinse with salt and water solution. The consequences a far more severe when the tooth is impacted ...
Reply:It set me back $50. a tooth, but to equal that, you'd have to take a time machine...I had mine done a LONG time ago! It took me a couple days to heal enough not to be bothered by the wounds.
