Wisdom teeth hurting?

I feel my wisdom teeth are coming in now and they are starting to hurt. It feels like my mouth is trying to over crowd itself. It feels like my mouth is impacting the teeth I already have and it hurts. Both sides inside my mouth where the wisdom teeth are growing are hurting me. I have an appointment with the orthdontist next month to see weather I should have my wisdom teeth taken out? I was wondering if there is anyway to relieve the pain until the appointment?Any suggestions?

Wisdom teeth hurting?
HELLO,

SOME PRODUCTS OUT THERE PROVIDE ONLY TEMPORARY RELIEF, AKA ORAGEL AND AMBESOL.

THE OTHER VERY EFFECTIVE MED FOR PAIN RELIEF THAT'S ALSO AN ANTI-INFLAMMATORY IS IBUPROFEN (ADVIL). YOU CAN TAKE 2 (TWO) OR 3 (THREE) TABLETS EVERY 4-6 HOURS FOR PAIN.
Reply:I suggest you to contact your dentist for an emergency walk-in.
Reply:You should immediately see a dentist. They should removed immediately, especially if they are hurting
Reply:try taking Motrin it will help a little.
Reply:See a dentist a little sooner, hon. Wisdom teeth, when they have no room to erupt are a disaster. Only your dentist and some x-rays can properly evaluate your problem.
Reply:only Advil or Tylenol for all i know sorry to hear they are bothering you this bad
Reply:Until your appointment you can buy this stuff called Oragel from your local pharmacy. It's over the counter so you don't have to have a prescription. It numbs your gums so you can't feel it period. It only lasts a couple of hours so keep it on you at all times. That's what I did when I had to wait for my Dr's appointment. I would get them taken out asap.
Reply:Wow a whole month's wait??

If the wisdom teeth hurt, take them out! lots of people don't have enough room in their mouth for them thats why you feel them "crowding" your original teeth.

Even if they don't crowd, since they are way back in your mouth they sometimes don't get a thorough cleaning/flossing and can easily develop cavities.

I've already gotten 2 of my top wisdom teeth removed. 1 was pressing into my other teeth, and the other grew at an awkward angle and jabbed the inside of my mouth.

It doesn't hurt at all during the removal of the wisdom teeth. But after the dentist pain killers wear off there's a slight discomfort.

There's some numbing gels you can buy at the stores to put on your gums to stop the pain for a bit. It's alot like the ones the dentist rubs on your gums.
Reply:Use plenty of pain reliever.
Reply:Contact your nearest Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons and get those bad boys out!
