Question about wisdom teeth?

I had my bottom wisdom teeth cut out a couple of weeks ago, they were impacted so it was pretty bad. I also had 2 dry sockets afterwards, it was terrible. I'm finally starting to feel better. But now I have these big holes where my teeth used to be. One side is bigger than the other. Will they ever close up and if so how long does it take? Please only serious answers! Thanks

Question about wisdom teeth?
Yes, these will close and the amount of time it takes varies from person to person. But the average time if about 40 to 60 days.

The mouth is a harsh enviroment for healing to take place and if you want to help speed the process along, then use a warm salt water solution to gargle with for about two weeks.

The salt might cause a little pain at first but this will tapper off the more you use it.

Just add a 1/4 tsp of salt to a 8oz glass of water and gagle it.

Don't swallow, although it won't hurt you it might make your stomach upset.

Best regards.
Reply:I'm getting an impacted one taken out next week. I'll watch for answers too!!
Reply:My mother told me yes they would eventually, but I got mine out in June and I still have th big gaps. I mean its more annoying than anything. it doesnt hurt but I can clearly put my tongue in the holes. Only time will tell I suppose!
Reply:Oh, I feel for you. I had all four wisdom teeth out and all resulted in dry sockets (the pain was terrible). The holes do eventually close over, but it does take a while. Think of getting your ears pierced, it takes what, 6 weeks to heal? Be patient, I would say about 6 weeks to 2 months is probably realistic. Just make sure you keep the holes clean.
