Do wisdom teeth and/or cavities cause horrible migraines?

I've been having horrible migraines ever since my wisdom teeth started trying to squeeze into my jaw (no space for the top two and the bottom two are horizontally impacted).

Do wisdom teeth and/or cavities cause horrible migraines?
OUCH! I'm getting a headache after reading about your wisdom teeth. And I thought I had it bad when I found out I had 6 instead of 4! (talk about a crowded mouth and no, the 2 extra did not confer extra wisdom!)

As to your question. Yes, the problems you describe can indeed cause headaches. As for the idea of cavities... That's how I found out I had extra ones. The pressure was so bad in my jaw the Dr. claimed that one of them cracked and that's why I ended up with this huge cave ( I mean cavity) in it.

Fortunately I was in the Army at the time and it cost me nothing for them to be removed.

You do need to get yours out but I also hope you ( or your guardian, no hint of your age) have health insurance that includes dental.

Good luck!
Reply:yes get them cut out. it is not as bad as it sounds.. good luck
Reply:Yeah It's possible wisdom teeth can cause a lot of problems. I would go see the dentist, if you can't get in than go see your doctor he/she can give you something for the pain.
Reply:wisdom teeth can sometimes cause mirgraines and so can cavitys my best advice would be go see a dentist they may be able too give you something too ease the pain or they may check ur teeth for any problems.
Reply:Yes- the same thing happened to me, when I let mine stay in too long. Two of them put holes in my sinuses- I was taking Excedrin every few hours, along with Tylenol and Goody's headache powder.

Get those suckers pulled out as soon as you can, it's worth it.
Reply:They can cause pain as in headaches, earaches, sore throat, jaw but migraines are not caused by wisdom teeth as painful as wisdom teeth can pain they hardly compare %26amp; are not cause for a migraine. Migraines are when the blood vessels in your head dialate, wisdom teeth do not cause this. However if your teeth are causing you this much pain to compare to a migraine seek help immediately. There is a cure for wisdom teeth by removal, there is NO cure for migraines at least not that I know of since you can't exactly remove your head %26amp; live but you can with those teeth. Get them out.
