had all my wisdom teeth pulled 2 weeks ago, my question is when will those holes be filled in with gums? i went to my surgeon today and he said give it another week, im skeptical because alot of people here say it takes SIX MONTHS.... i should add that mine were an easy pull they were NOT impacted he didnt have to cut any thing he just yanked em out... reason i ask is i want to wait until the holes completley heal and are replaced by gum so i can start smoking again.....

what length of time did it take for a regular molar to heal for you!!=that's how long it will take with the wisdom teeth when you had no problems when they were pulled
Reply:it takes about 2 weeks to heal completely and it does take around 6 months for the holes to fill in. It actually took mine a few months longer. Good Luck!
