After wisdom teeth, small round bump on gum?

i got my wisdom teeth removed 1 1/2 week ago. my 2 bottom molars were impacted so it was cut and everything. its kinda healed. but on my left side bottom very last molar theres next to where the wisdom teeth used to be, there is a bump like a ball on my gum. it doesnt hurt , it feels a little hard. what is it ?

It could just be normal scar tissue or it could be a piece of bone trying to work its way out. It will work its way out on its own usually if it is that.
Reply:Could be a hematoma (collection of broken blood vessels). Or it could be what we call a bone spicule (bone splinter) working it's way out (perfectly normal). Just keep an eye on it for now, if it changes at all (other than going away) or starts to hurt, call your dentist %26amp; ask them to evaluate it.
