Just had my wisdom teeth out at the bottom of my jaw and they were impacted what can i eat ?
I had mine out a few weeks ago.
Don't suck on anything, including through a straw, and hot food is to be avoided for the first several days. Soups are difficult b/c you'll have to pour them into your mouth rather than slurp on them. Don't eat any seeds or anything small and solid enough to get stuck in the holes, like rice. You'll also need to avoid popcorn for several weeks - I think I was told 4 weeks from the day of surgery.
Try eating:
Ice Cream (no pieces of anything in it), pudding, applesauce, corn pudding (with just creamed corn - don't add extra kernels), protein shakes (health shakes, like ensure) smoothies, mashed sweet potatoes, cream of wheat, creamed corn, mashed beans (like pintos, or refried), macaroni and cheese, jello, hummos, scrambled eggs, and I even warmed cereal in the microwave with milk to make it mushy - I used Cinnamon Life, but other cereals that get soggy would work.
Feel better soon!
Reply:Soup? Yogurt?
I'm scared of having mine out (if need be)..
Reply:Ah I have to have that done when I'm about your age aswell :(
How about soup and yoghurt..?
Reply:anything soft and mushy. yogurt. mac and cheese. oatmeal. pudding. just remember...no sucking of any kind!
Reply:aww poor u hope u well soon, ok stick to a soft diet e.i mash yogurt soup but wash u mouth out after each meal xx
Reply:With wisdom teeth taken out you will find it difficult to decide what to eat due to lack of wisdom. When your wisdom returns you will be more able to choose which meals are easiest for you to partake in. Please be assured that your wisdom will be fully restored in later years but not before making the usual mistakes (Loans, Marriage, Kids etc.) Remember you are not alone, most kids of 19 have just as much (or little) wisdom as you have.
Reply:ideally u shd visit dentist cos if allignment is not correct u shd get it removed otherwise u wll have to face more problm in future.there is no harm in extraction.u shd maintain d cleanliness of that area.use chlorhexidine mouthwash.do warm saline gargles.
