I'm getting my wisdom teeth taken out! help!?

okay so my wisdom teeth are impacted mesially which means it's in my gum and is coming out sideways into my other tooth. so i'm getting them taken out this summer since the dentist said it is alright for me to wait a bit so it wont inter fear with school. so back to my question. how bad does it hurt and what is the process i will go threw and the worst of all (so i've heard) after.. does it really hurt that bad.. on a scale 1-10 how bad does it hurt?

I got mine out when I was 15 and 16. It was a verrry easy process. Pretty much, just dont drink out of a straw for about 2 weeks. Or eat anything too hard. Keep it cleaned out.





For the procedure; if you choose to be put asleep, its the easiest. Soon as they give you the IV you fall asleep and wake up in no time when its taken out when they are finished. I advise this, specially if you are nervous.





But dont worry. Its so simple and people get them out everyday!

and just eat ice cream IT HELPS ALOT


u wont feel like eating but get an icecream pale, itll numb the feeling


make sure theres no chunks in the icecream either, like nuts

Reply:you go to sleep they pop em out and wake you up.


you will have gauze way back in your mouth. you will get an irrigater and you slush the tooth holes every so often and take a pain pill and an ibuprofen. What hurts is the swelling. the ibuprofen keeps it FROM swelling


and the pain pill helps it from the hurt you got when the area was damaged. You will be OK in just a few days. Its a good time to ask your mom and dad for a car :)
