I have a white blotch in the back of my throat. I have been on antibiotics for my wisdom teeth.?

I noticed an hour ago. I felt lathargic today, but my throat does not really hurt, my eyes and head do a little. Could the dot be related to the tooth problem.( infected and impacted wisdoms) I also had an allergic reaction to mildew last night and took my inhaler for the first time in a long time. It could be anything but, I need opinions.

It sounds like you have thrush. Thrush is like a yeast infection in yuor mouth - the natural yeast/baceteria balance can be disturbed by the use of antibiotics, such as those prescribed for your teeth. The white coating that you're noticing is pus that is secreted by your body trying to fight the growth of the yeast. Your body will not be able to overcome this on its own so you need to go back to your doctor or Emergency room to have ANOTHER antibiotic prescribed. I do not konw if you are male or female, but beware of yeast infections which can worsen and become urinary tract infections. You must see a doctor for this - trust me it will NOT go away on its own.
Reply:Any time you get something detached from the inside of your mouth, there is a possibility of getting that white blotch. I have had my wisdom teeth removed and I was told that it's part of the healing process. I've also had my tonsils removed and the whole area in the back of my throat got white like that. Just to ensure that it's not infected, try to gargle with some mouthwash or just some salt water. If it worsens or gets painful, then call your doctor and get it checked out.
