How long does it take for a wisdom tooth to fully crown, how long do you wait before realizing its impacted?

My wisdom teeth have only just begun to crown within the last couple days but one side of my mouth hurts like hell so how long before i know its impacted and does anyone know how to get free dental work in los angeles area?

there is no answer to this question becuz everyone has different rates of growth for their wisdom teeth. for instance, mine was growing for 5 years and it still didnt completely come out...since it was givin me so much pain i just went to dentist to pull them all out. but i know some other people who had their wisdom teeth fully crowned within 2 years or less. so...if it really pains u that much, go see a dentist to see if u should remove it. sometimes, it grows the wrong way, thats why it hurts so much and if it does grow the wrong way it will end up killing ur other teeth too.
Reply:When my wisdom teeth were coming through I couldn't move my jaw left to right without pain.


Went to the hospital (because I had a broken jaw a couple of months before), they sent me to the hospital dentist ... then had to operate straight away. They knocked me out and took out four of my wisdom teeth that were growing underneath my back teeth .... so lost eight in an hour.





Go to the dentist now and get them to x-ray. It only takes a couple of days for them to grow. If you have pain, then it probably is coming through but cannot because it's under your back tooth.
Reply:You should go to the dentist and they will be able to see if it is coming in right. When your wisdom teeth come in, it will hurt a bit, but as long as there is room for them, the pain should be over soon. You can get free dental work at a dental school, such as bryman college. There is always a dentist there, and none of the procedures are major, alot of times they can fill cavities for free as well. They can take free xrays to make sure that your wisdoms are fine. Hope the pain is done soon, and hope you can find a free dental place!
